UCL Beacon Schools in Holocaust Education

Enhance the quality of education across your school

Our flagship Beacon Schools programme helps schools to develop into exciting centres of educational excellence. Working in partnership with innovative and creative Lead Teachers, we develop their confidence and proficiency in teaching and learning about the Holocaust. Supported by identified SLT links, we enable Lead Teachers to raise standards across their schools, improve student attainment and make a major contribution to whole school initiatives.

The map below shows the breadth and scope of our existing Beacon School Programme across England. Each Beacon School works with a network of local schools to disseminate teaching materials and pedagogy and share best practice. Explore the map to find Beacon Schools in your area.
