‘Forgiveness does not bring back the dead
But it lifts your soul,
Relieves burdens and the question is ‘to bring true understanding’
I can try to lead a new chapter in my life, not starting again
I might not have children, or grandchildren
But I can find comfort in my dear friends.
Have I succeeded? Only God knows
I’ll busy myself with work
And complete my mission’
