What was the Holocaust, how do I teach it and why does it matter?

Outwood Grange Academies Trust has partnered with UCL Centre for Holocaust Education to offer OGAT staff a unique opportunity of a full day of in-person CPD in Holocaust education. The day will consist of a series of workshops showcasing modules from the Centre’s modular professional development course. Delivered by experts in Holocaust education, attendees will deepen their subject knowledge, develop their confidence, and learn first-hand how to implement new approaches to teaching and learning about this challenging subject. The day will cover how the Holocaust came about, the lives of Jewish people in Europe before the Holocaust, and the origins of Nazi antisemitism.  All attendees will be provided with free classroom resources after the event and be given information about how to access other modules online.
