The ‘Dialogues in Holocaust Education’ series will mark UN Genocide Prevention Day with a special online session on Monday December 9.
We will be joined by a survivor of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, who will speak about their experiences. A panel of teachers will then discuss the possibilities and pitfalls of teaching about the Holocaust and other genocides before the session concludes with students from a group of UCL Beacon Schools talking about a remarkable genocide prevention project that they have been working on. We hope that you will be able to join us for what should be a useful and inspiring occasion.
This session is online and joining instructions will be emailed to participants in the week before the session.
This session begins at 4.00pm.
