Woodford County High School for Girls
| Woodford County High School is a girls’ grammar school in Woodford, Essex, in the borough of Redbridge. There are approximately 1000 students at the school and it is experiencing a period of considerable expansion. Holocaust Education is integral to our History, RS and SMSC programmes, however we feel that there is considerable scope to enhance our provision of this vital aspect of education, as well as a role that we can play in helping to expand a more effective programme to neighbouring schools. As such we are excited about working with UCL and drawing on their immense expertise in this field, as well as collaborating with other practitioners towards the shared goal of improving students’ understanding of all aspects of the Holocaust. |
