Opened in September 2016, Venturers’ Academy is the first state funded all age specialist provision in Bristol for children with a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and who have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).
Venturers’ Academy provides an outstanding, personalised and challenging education, where students aspire to, and attain, the highest levels of achievement both academically and socially. Each and every student thrives and where everything’s possible.
Established by our sponsors the Society of Merchant Venturers and the University of Bristol, Venturers’ Academy is a centre of excellence, and is the first school of its kind in Bristol.
Providing seven classes for Years 1 to 6 and five classes for Years 7 to 11, there are 49 places for primary age students and 35 places for secondary age students.
Venturers’ Academy meets the range of need, from high functioning students to students with global development delay.
