Stoke Park is a mixed comprehensive school for students aged between 11 and 19, and serves an inner-city catchment area. Stoke Park is one of the most over-subscribed schools in Coventry.

Since becoming a Beacon School in July 2014, we have organised a CPD session that was led by the Centre for Holocaust Education and allowed members of staff from the school and other schools in the local area to focus and develop their understanding of the nature of teaching the Holocaust.

Working with the Centre will allow us as teachers to ensure that we are providing Holocaust Education that is powerful and effective, and will help to ‘Keep the memory alive’ of one of the most difficult periods of History to study so as to ensure genocide throughout the world ends.
