Robert Clack School of Science is a 2000 strong school based in Dagenham, Essex.

Their pupils come from a range of different socio-economic, ethnic and religious backgrounds creating a truly comprehensive environment. The school was rated as Outstanding for three consecutive inspections in 2004, 2007 and 2011 and has been recognised nationally on numerous occasions including the Evening Standard’s ‘Best State School of the Year’ award, awarded in May 2009.

Robert Clack School was also featured in the Ofsted report entitled ‘Twelve Outstanding Secondary Schools – Excelling against the Odds’ in February 2009.

A number of Robert Clack’s History teachers have attended CPD sessions run by the UCL Centre for Holocaust Education and found them to be extremely insightful, thought provoking and extremely useful in developing their own teaching and learning practise in relation to the Holocaust.

As a UCL Beacon School the Robert Clack School of Science look to forward to developing their partnership with the Centre even further whilst exploring and utilising the outstanding resources and training provided.
