Enfield County School is an all girls’ inclusive, multi-cultural comprehensive school with specialist Language College status, from the ages of 11 – 18. It is has an inclusive ethos, through its curriculum and extra curricula opportunities. When I was Head of the History Department I did the two day CPD at UCL for teaching the Holocaust. I also attended numerous CPD events after school with Paul Salmons at the IoE. When I was Head of Year I completed the MA Module on Holocaust in the Curriculum. In my new role as International Co-ordinator, I am now embarking on achieving the UCL Holocaust Beacon School, with the support of my new Head of Department Edward Lloyd and the acting Deputy Head Jennifer Foster.
