Haggerston school is a mixed comprehensive school deeply rooted in the bustling and diverse community of the London borough of Hackney.
It has its own dedicated sixth form and is often noted for its value in the architectural world as being the only school designed by the renowned architect Erno Goldfinger. Haggerston school has recently been awarded Beacon school status in Holocaust education and through its lead teacher has begun a program to not only revolutionise the teaching of the Holocaust across the whole school but across the whole borough.
The school is part of a long standing RE and History network that works collaboratively with Hackney learning trust to ensure that students from across the borough receive an outstanding RE and History education delivered by teachers with outstanding subject knowledge and an outstanding understanding of assessment needs and criteria.
