As the term draws to a close, UCL Centre for Holocaust Education’s Ruth-Anne Lenga went on a visit to see Holocaust Survivor and Speaker Mala Tribich MBE. Over coffee and cake in Mala’s apartment, they chatted about the upcoming 80th anniversary of the liberation of Bergen-Belsen. Mala was just 14 when she was liberated by British soldiers who found her suffering from typhus and acute starvation.  Her liberation came in the nick of time as she had just days left to live in that condition.   In this video clip Mala, has a special message for our Centre’s staff and teacher alumni, as we all prepare for this important anniversary.
