“The announcement from Facebook to ban Holocaust denial and distortion content is long overdue. It is hard to imagine what took so long for Facebook to come to this decision. Now it has been made, it must be enforced with rigour and impact. Denial and distortion of the Holocaust is an insult to all members of society and it is particularly obnoxious to survivors and those in the Jewish community.  It cannot be tolerated. This announcement from Facebook serves as an important step in the ongoing quest to defend truth and combat malevolent antisemitism and an action that must be followed by other media platforms. “
