The act of antisemitic terrorism which targeted Jewish people at prayer at a San Diego synagogue at the weekend was sickening and barbaric. This latest incident follows the despicable attack at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh last October. It is a horrific reality that Jews cannot go about their ordinary business, attend their synagogues, send their children to religion school or gather for important memorials events or festivals without the threat of attack. Antisemitism in all its forms is brutal and must be stopped.   Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s family and the injured.
